Thursdays Thoughts.

This morning I weighed in and lost 0.8 lbs. I was hoping for at least a pound loss but i'll take it. I currently weigh 190.4 lbs. It is unbelievable to see 190 on the scale. It seemed like getting out of the 200's took forever and I remember the first time I saw a 1 as the front number on the scale. It was the best feeling ever!

My workouts have been good. I've been killin it at the gym. The elliptical is by far my favorite piece of equipment and I've really taking a liking to doing interval sprints on the treadmill.

My food has been good. Eating tons of fruits, veggies and whole grains. I been guzzling water down like a boss. This is my last week before I start up school and then it's back to the grind.

I will start trying to take pics again and take measurement of my body. I can see a bit of a change right now, but I know having pictures for down the road will help a lot.

NSV: I've noticed that my jeans are feeling loose on me. I am currently a size 14.

Brag: Burned 1300+ calories in a workout this week. Also, I have lost officially 40 pounds since my journey has started. (I started at 231 pounds about 2 yrs ago)


  1. Woo hoo! 0.8 pound loss is nothing to sneer at. Just think - this time next week, you can say goodbye to the 190s forever. :)

  2. I'm trying to decide which part of this post is more awesome..the jeans or the .8 or the 190 on the scale...Hell, it's all awesome! Congrats!
