Push-Ups.

Like I said in my last post, my main goal is to become a police officer. One of the steps I need to take to achieve this goal is to take a physical test. This includes push-ups, sit-ups, running, etc. I need to be able to do about 20 LEGIT push-ups. My dad has had me incorporate push-ups into my workout and I can honestly say that I feel that I am getting stronger and seeing more definition in my upper body. I took some video today during my workout. Take a look for yourself.

The first video I am doing "cheat" push-ups. I started out only being able to do 5 of them...struggling. Now I am up to 10 and they are getting easy.

This is me doing 5 LEGIT push-ups. I did another set after I took this video. I could have probably done one more set after that. :)

Summer is Over.

So this past week I began what is hopefully my last year of my Associates Degree. I can't wait to graduate finally. Anyways, this past week I wrote a Thank You letter to my home slice Tyler over at 344pounds. I didn't think he was going to turn it into a post but he did and that was really awesome. I encourage you to click the URL link and check it out. He's an amazing success story and is basically just an amazing person overall.

I know some people have been wondering what I have been up to and why I haven't been blogging. I was working a lot this summer and trying to workout and have a social life. So there basically went blogging out the window. I have gained a little bit of weight this summer. It's not a lot but enough for me to want to get back into the swing of things.

I don't think I am as worried as much about losing weight as I have been in the past. My future career as a police officer means that I have to be strong and somewhat "bigger". So for the past 2 months I have really been focusing on weight lifting and becoming stronger. I need to be able to do about 20 push ups for my physical test. I need to be able to defend myself on the streets as a cop. People want to hurt cops. I don't want to lose the battle of fighting to stay a live. I want to be able to kick ass and take names.

My eating is getting better. I have been more conscious about portions and what I am eating. I downloaded an app for my phone so I can keep track of my water intake. I stole that from Alan. Btw, he is on a roll! Check out his blog, its awesome like him.

So that's me in a nutshell right now. I thank everyone for their continued support, it means a lot to me.
